At Rock Solid, we discourage the use of carpeting, as it can be difficult to clean. And we encourage the use of a broom and dustpan set, so staff can spot clean during the afternoon and evening. General cleaning with a vacuum cleaner is more appropriate for after hours. Unfortunately, with kids, one mess may lead to another. It’s best to stay ahead of the game. We give a strike (warning) to youth who intentionally leave messes. We will cancel the strike if they clean it up. Youth can earn a reward if they spend at least fifteen minutes cleaning up.
