Let’s face it, items like pop and candy are a significant temptation to youth. If you find yourself understaffed, and if you, as we suggest, encourage your kids to work in the kitchen for a reward (pop or candy), these items are going to be a temptation. If you step out of the room, you may find your pop and candy items raided. It’s best to keep them separate, behind lock and key, where only adult staff can have access to them. You can place the refrigerator in a separate room, or purchase a commercial refrigerator with a lock.
