You would think that door alarms would be expensive, but they’re not. Some of these systems run under $30! They can be connected to an alarm and your phone via Wi-Fi. Door alarms are a key component of a secure building. When kids can leave without your knowing it, the building is neither safe nor secure. There should only be one primary entrance where youths check-in and check out. Every other exterior door should have an alarm.
